Position Overview 
As the Hospitality Manager & Wine Director, you will play a dual role in driving both operational efficiency and the development of a world-class wine program that complements our modern Mexican cuisine. You will work closely with the executive leadership team to oversee daily restaurant operations, manage staff, and create a curated wine list that enhances our guests’ dining experience. This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic, results-driven professional who combines strong managerial skills with a deep passion for wine. 

Key Responsibilities 
  • Operational Management & Leadership & Assist in Daily Operations
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Adherence to health and safety standards 
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling labor and operational costs, ensuring the restaurant meets its financial goals. 
  • Monitor and maintain service quality and food and beverage standards across the restaurant. 
  • Wine Program Development & Management 
  • Develop and maintain a diverse, innovative wine list that complements our modern Mexican menu, with an emphasis on Mexican and Latin American wines, as well as international selections. 
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with wine distributors, vineyards, and suppliers to ensure access to quality wines and favorable purchasing agreements. 
  • Design and deliver comprehensive wine education programs for the service team, including tastings, pairing recommendations, and service techniques. 
  • Oversee wine inventory, ordering, and cost control processes to optimize profitability while ensuring the wine selection remains fresh and exciting. 
  • Serve as a wine ambassador, interacting with guests to enhance their dining experience through expert wine recommendations and education. 
Event and Marketing Collaboration 
  • Collaborate on planning wine-centric events, tastings, and special promotions that drive traffic and build brand awareness. 
  •  Work closely with the culinary team to create synergistic pairing opportunities and exclusive wine dinners that highlight the fusion of modern and traditional flavors. 
Qualifications 
Experience: 
  • Minimum of 5 years in a management role within a high-volume, upscale restaurant environment. 
  • Proven expertise in wine selection, program development, and wine service. 
Education & Certifications: 
  • Sommelier certification 
Skills & Competencies: 
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 
  • Sound financial acumen and experience with budget management. 
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure. 
  • Passion for wine and a deep understanding of wine regions, varietals, and trends.

Compensation: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
